Bio: My Guest today is Eric Nicoli CBE. Eric Received a First Class Degree in Physics form King’s College London. He then took the Food Manufacturing industry by storm, first working at Rowntree’s where he created the Yorkie and Lion Bars. Next he Moved to United Biscuits in 1980 where he climbed the ranks to Group Chief Executive, which he held from 1991 to 1999 prior to his move to EMI. EMI at the time of its break-up in 2012, was the 4th largest record label in the industry. From 1993 till 1999 Eric was Non-executive Director at EMI and in 1999 he was appointed Executive Chairman of the Label. He left the company in 2007. Eric currently hold the following positions; Chairman of Wentworth Media & Arts Ltd and Centtrip, Senior Independent Director of the PGA European Tour and Non Executive Chairman of YO! Sushi. Previously he has also held the following positions: Chairman of the HMV Group, Tussard Group Ltd, Vue Entertainment and uSwitch Ltd, Director at Akazoo, Senior Independent Director at Greencore and Investor and advisor at Fiz.com.

Bio: My guest today is Andrew Bingham. Andrew was born and raised in Buxton, East Midlands and started his career working at his father’s business, supplying engineering equipment to the north-west of England. Andrew was elected in 1999 to the High Peak Borough Council. Aspirations to sit in parliament led him to run for in 2005 and lose the seat for the High Peak, which he won 2010 general election. Not your traditional Conservative party member, he was labelled as a ‘serial rebel’ by national newspapers. While in office he ran many charity fundraisers and voted on key issues such as military involvement in Syria and Brexit, which he supported. He lost his seat at the 2017 General Election.

Bio: Dr Niall G MacKenzie FRSA is Director of Accreditations in the Adam Smith Business School and a three-time graduate of the University of Glasgow. Prior to re-joining Glasgow University, he worked at the universities of Cambridge, Wales and Strathclyde in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation. His research has been funded by a number of organisations, including the European Commission H2020, ESRC, AHRC, Nesta, the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, the OECD, Forfas (Ireland's development agency), the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment Northern Ireland (DETINI), Creative Scotland and the Institute for Family Business. Bio: My guest today is William Butler-Adams OBE FRGS. Born in London, Will attended boarding school from 8 years old, attending Aysgarth School in Yorkshire and later Rugby School in Warwickshire. After School he attended Newcastle University achieving a first class Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical engineering in 1997. He also spent a year on an ERASMUS exchange to Spain where he studied Spanish at the University of Valladolid. His career began as a Project manager for Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) continuing on to Plant Manager for DuPont. At age 28, after a chance meeting with the chairman of the Brompton Folding bike company, he was invited to visit the companies factory, where he fell in love with the bike. He joined the company and in 2008 was promoted to CEO. In the time that Will has been working at Brompton the company has gone from 27 employees to 200 and yearly turnover has gone from roughly £2 million to £25 million.

Description: When Rollie Peterkin’s college wrestling career ended in heartbreak, he fell short of his dream of standing on the national podium. After graduating with an Ivy League degree, he tried to take solace in the lucrative Wall Street job offer that awaited him. He vigorously launched himself into his new career as a bond trader and grew accustomed to fancy dinners, expense accounts, late nights, and early mornings. Rollie was achieving all of his goals, but began to feel like something was missing. During a trip to Peru, a chance encounter with a legendary cage fighter would inspire him to question the well-worn path to success he had always known. Soon after, Rollie plotted his escape and ultimately left behind the life of luxury to pursue a savage dream. Becoming an Undefeated Professional MMA fighter. When injury struck he looked to the future and decided he had to leave Peru. He spent the next few years traveling on and off and teaching English. In the summer of 2017, while travelling with a few mates in Eastern Europe, I met Rollie.
