Join us as we usher in some Christmas cheer as good friend and regular customer, andre Louis plays His Knight K10 upright piano immediately after we tuned it. There is a lovely atmosphere as the Louis family are preparing to put up their Christmas decorations and we end the recording with a Christmas tune or two.
Enjoy this short recording we made of the Bluthner Grand Piano at the ABRSM Exam Centre in Sevenoaks, Kent. The recording was made immediately after we tuned the piano
Join us as we spend a bit of time with Melanie who is not only a talented piano player but, a great singer too. At the time of this recording, Melanie was back from Argentina where she is currently living to spend time with her family at their home in the UK. We talk a bit about our common interest in Gospel Music and I get to try Maté, a hot drink made with herbs and drawn through a metal straw. The visit was made complete by the occasional vocal input from Marly the family dalmatian dog. If you would like to book an appointment for us to tune your piano as Melanie did, please visit: http://tothetuneofpianos.co.uk

We recently tuned this lovely Kemble Silent Piano which has an innovative third pedal which when pressed into its locking position, prevents the hammers from striking the strings. You then plug a pair of headphones into a small device under the key bed at the front of the piano and you are presented with a digital piano, making this instrument perfect for practicing when you need to play quietly while also having a lovely acoustic instrument which you can play when it is safe to make a noise again. Enjoy this unedited, fun audio made immediately after we had completed the tuning of Andre’s Knight piano on our third visit in 18 Months. We recommend that pianos be tuned twice a year. Andre is an accomplished musician with a huge archive of free to use music along with specifically tailored music for podcasters and audio producers at http://www.andrelouis.com.
We made this audio to demonstrate the contrast between a piano before it is tuned and after our work is complete. We tuned Johns Broadwood upright piano. John likes to compose His own music and played some of it for us when we had finished working on His piano. #ToTheTuneOfPianos
Lovely to meet Chris and His family, particularly 12 year old Caleb who played the piano after I had tuned it. It is always heartening to find young people like Caleb, showing such a healthy interest in playing an acoustic piano and encouraging to know that he is further enthused that in His own words: "The piano sounds much better now that it has been tuned."
