The Nightmare Krew narrowly escaped the Science and Research facility of the Illithid Empire, to venture to the surface of the nigh-dead world, Orryndahl. There, they made contact and brokered a deal with a beleaguered Elder Brain known as Sanctuary. If they could enter its mindscape and cleanse it of "the Dark One's corruption," then no harm would come to the Krew from its brood. The Brain might even assist in the upcoming battle with the Dark One themselves... But that all depends on the Krew's success in mercurial and trialsome landscape, as an unexpected guest crashes into view...
