Today's episode is about the day I almost lost it over a tantrum, and the moment I realized the anger bubbling up wasn't really about her. It was my dad's voice, decades old, trying to run the show.
This is what it actually looks like to break a generational pattern in real time — messy, imperfect, and worth it.
If you're contending with your own patterns that are most definitely a product of your upbringing, this episode is for you.
Thank you for choosing to listen this week! Come back for new episodes every Monday.
If the mother’s emotional state is the anchor of her family, shouldn’t her cycle be the compass this guides them?
This week I talk about my current life-admin project that has lead me to consider this question.
I discuss how cycle syncing your life, as well as your family’s just might be world changing.
I release new episodes every Monday. Follow the podcast to keep up with the latest choices I am making, in my quest to live consciously and become the best version of myself.
If you never appreciate what you accomplish, what's the point?
This week's episode is an audio time-capsule of me feeling good and reveling in my successful completion of some big tasks for the podcast.
I chose to capture how proud I felt this week, so I can revisit that feeling and hopefully inspire you to be proud of your own wins as well.
Have you found yourself ruminating and wish you could just shut it off? I certainly do.
In this episode I discuss how a conversation left me down a deep hole of self-judgment. I chose to invest the mental bandwidth I was wasting on over-thinking into getting stuff DONE. The shifts it made were just what I needed to not only get out of that self-judgment hole, but also over the slump I had been in prior to the conversation in the first place.

When we take a hard look at our struggles, sometimes we can trace their origins back to ourselves.
This week, while brainstorming how to improve some of my motherhood struggles, I realized I was the problem all along.
I take a brutally honest look at the habits I've carried over from my more impulsive years. Reassessing how my time management shortcomings are quietly keeping me from becoming the version of myself I'm most proud of.
What if that thing you've wanted to try, is actually the key to changing your life?! What if listening to your intuition could make you hotter?
Last week I talked about the ways I abandon myself, so this week I chose to repair the damage by doing the opposite - I showed up for myself. I did this by writing out all those things I've been wanting to do, and actually doing them. The results were surprising!
As promised, here's the recipe mentioned in this episode:
Flax Seed Hair Gel
Put the seeds, water and Epsom salt in a tall saucepan and simmer on medium heat until it reaches a rolling boil. Stirring occasionally. Let it simmer until it reduces by half. Strain immediately into a glass jar and let it cool to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator.

If we should be advocating for ourselves, what happens when we're actually our own biggest critic?
This week, I talk about the insidious psychological pattern known as self-abandonment, and how I may have found trick to stop it in it's tracks.
Is abandoning yourself really a form self-sabotage, to keep you stuck at your baseline level of happiness? Maybe the key to becoming the best version of yourself requires making it past that upper-limit you've unconsciously set for yourself
If you've ever harshly judged yourself after a social interaction, or spent an afternoon feeling unnecessarily guilty, this episode is for you.

I've been unintentionally signaling to my nervous system that I'm unsafe, and you probably are too.
Today I explore the unconscious habits that are wreaking havoc on my well being and talk about the new behaviors I've replaced them with. If you feel dis-regulated and can't pinpoint why, this episode is for you!
I discuss how I've accidentally been living in a state of Flight-Fight-Fawn- & Freeze and how I'm choosing to shift into a state of Rest-Digest-Create-&Connect.
Also in this episode, I test out being more candid with you by ditching a script and just talking freely about my last three weeks. I hope this episode feels more personal and conversational.

In this episode, I share how a frustrating start to my day could have easily spiraled into a bad day… or even a bad week.
But instead of letting that happen, I made a different choice.
Not a huge one.
Just a small interruption, that lead to more...
A walk.Gratitude.Writing.Time outside.
And somehow, those small shifts completely changed the trajectory of my day.
This episode is about how quickly a mood can take over—and how much power there is in interrupting it before it does.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in a bad mood or like your day was “ruined” before it even started, this one’s for you.

Ever find yourself scrolling, cleaning, or staying busy… just to avoid the moment you’re in?
In this episode, I’m unpacking the subtle ways I’ve been numbing out—especially during the harder parts of my day—and how I didn’t even realize how often I was checking out.
From toddler tantrums to being “nap-trapped” and lost in endless scrolling, I started to notice how quickly I reach for distractions when things feel overwhelming, frustrating, or just not how I want them to be.
This week, I tried something different.
Instead of automatically checking out, I experimented with staying present.
It wasn’t perfect.
It wasn’t always comfortable.
But it showed me the difference between avoiding my life… and actually being in it.
If you’ve ever caught yourself doomscrolling, zoning out, or avoiding the moment you’re in—this episode is for you.
