Today I watched Ecstasy of Order: The Tetris Masters directed by Adam Cornelius and starring Thor Aackerlund, Pat Contri, Harry Hong, Jesse Kelkar, Robin Mihara and more! I give it 5/5 tetrominos. Today I watched Elysium written and directed by  Neill Blomkamp and starring Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, and Sharlto Copley. I give it 5/5 grenades. Subtitles might have helped it be less challenging at times, but I thought it was excellent anyway!

Today I watched The Heat directed by Paul Feig and starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. I give it 4/5 leftover sandwiches.

Today I watched Skyline directed by  Colin Strause and Greg Strause and starring  Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, and Brittany Daniel. I give it 4/5 space monsters.

Today I watched You’re Next directed by Adam Wingard and starring  Sharni Vinson, Nicholas Tucci, and AJ Bowen. I give it 5/5 animal masks. It comes out in theaters next Friday, August 23, and I highly recommend film goers to go to this film, especially if you like Drag Me to Hell and/or The Cabin in the Woods.

Today I watched Upside Down directed by Juan Solanas and starring Kirsten Dunst, Jim Sturgess, and Timothy Spall. I give it 4/5 goldfish. Check this out if you like sci-fi/fantasy that takes on strange world premises. Yeah, I think that’s accurate. I’m glad I watched it, so you might be too!

Today I watched Teenage Bank Heist directed by Doug Campbell and starring Maeve Quinlan, Abbie Cobb, and Cassi Thomson. I give it 4/5 paperback books. If you want a fun movie night then you really can’t go wrong with this movie. It’s available in Redbox right now, which I think is the only way you can watch it other than buying a copy. Someday I will own my own copy, that’s how much I enjoyed it!

Today I watched Star Trek Into Darkness directed by J.J. Abrams and starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Zoe Saldana. I give it 5/5 musical captain’s chairs. Watch out for a bunch of spoilers in this episode. I could have prevented that, but I didn’t, so sorry.
