Bill Barhydt joins Kym in studio today as they talk about Abra, Bill’s revolutionary money transfer and payment banking app. Kym learns about Bill’s rather odd journey which begins with wanting to pursue a career with animation and computer graphics. He then tells her how several years of being a research analyst for the CIA and NASA led to a job with Goldman Sachs providing him with financial knowledge he would later need to create Abra. Bill also talks about developing the first payment applications for the internet and making it secure with Netscape. He then explains how texting and increasing cell phone use became his next opportunity for banking and payment applications.
