There are also great Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks for NBA 2K20, Warframe, and Phantasy Star Online 2, accessible on console, PC, or the Xbox Game Pass mobile app.

Sea of Thieves also unveiled their April update during the show, titled “Ships of Fortune.” You’ll be able to join up with any of the trading companies as an emissary, and in return you’ll be rewarded with exclusive cosmetics. The arena has also been overhauled to speed up the action, in addition to a new brief window in which you can be revived. Also, they added cats! Ships of Fortune arrives on Xbox One and PC on April 22nd.

Also announced during Inside Xbox is the Hotline Miami Collection, now available on Xbox One. The collection contains both neon-soaked brutally challenging games, which are sure to thrill and challenge.

Just launched this week is Construction Simulator 3, which takes the popular sim title to Europe for even more challenging projects.

Finally, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone Season 3 just kicked off. In the free-to-play battle-royale title, Season 3 adds bigger squads, new rides, and more firepower.

The Old Ways Lore Event runs until April 21st, and includes Bloodhound’s Trials Town Takeover event, where you and your squad battle against a hoard of prowlers to claim high-tier loot. There’s a brand-new prize track and new skins in the shop. As a bonus, Duos will be added as a new permanent option for both Kings Canyon and World Edge.

You’ll follow Jill Valentine as she escapes from crumbling Racoon City and the harrowing pursuit of bioweapon Nemesis.

In addition to the story mode, you’ll also get Resident Evil Resistance, the 4v1 asymmetrical escape game that puts you in the place of either a survivor or devious mastermind.

Finally, we got the great news that Minecraft Dungeons will be launching May 26. You’ll fight your way through an all-new action-adventure game, inspired by classic dungeon crawlers and set in the Minecraft universe! Up to four friends can play together, or you can brave the dungeons alone. Battle new-and-nasty mobs across action-packed, treasure-stuffed, wildly varied levels, all in an epic quest to defeat the evil Arch-Illager!

PUBG is in reveling in the spirit of April Fools with their brand-new limited-time Fantasy Battle Royale Event, running now through April 7. You’ll drop into the battlefield as either a Barbarian, Ranger, Wizard, or Paladin, and do battle with fantasy weapons. You can test out a new crafting system, and you can even earn Fantasy skins to use in normal PUBG games.

Next, Spring has come to our gardens and to Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville with the Springening Festival. Hop your way through the Prize Map for fresh customizations, including an all-new Legendary Upgrade for Rose. And take a tour through a blossoming Giddy Park, decorated with painted eggs, chocolate bunnies, and more.

Finally, Free Play Days are on this weekend, and include WWE 2K20, Monster Energy Supercross, and The Elder Scrolls Online. In this special Elder Scrolls Online prologue event, you’ll join 15 million players and play for free until April 13th. Along the way, you’ll descend into the Dark Heart of Skyrim, which is now free for all players. You’ll continue the year-long adventure when the upcoming Greymoor Chapter comes to Xbox One.

Here’s your news for Wednesday the 1st of April.  

Missing live sports? Gears 5 Operation 3 is now available and includes the brand-new mode Gridiron, which sees two teams fighting to run a neutral flag into their opponent’s endzone. With no respawns and a two-minute time-limit per round, this mode is INTENSE. Operation 3 also brings a new map and arena, in addition to new heroes, villains, and more.

Next, Soul Calibur VI just launched new DLC Character Haohmaru [how-maru], who you might recognize from the Saumurai Shodown series. Unlock Season Pass 2 to obtain the new Character Creation Set as well.

Also, it wouldn’t be April Fools without a few whacky game modes, and World of Tanks is showing up with their Turret Town 4v4 Multi-Base Assault Game Mode. You’ll only have 12 rounds of a single shell type, and all enemy health bars, nameplates, and map-icons will be disabled. One tip: Lock your turret in 3rd person view with RB, so you can look around without revealing your position.

If you’re looking for something that will keep you on the edge of your seat, look no further than The Complex, a brand new interactive sci-fi movie. After a bioweapon attack on London, it’s up to you to make the tough decisions that will lead to one of 8 possible outcomes.

Finally, the April Games with Gold are here! Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now download Project Cars 2 for Xbox One, and Fable Anniversary for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Starting April 16, Download Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle for Xbox One, and Toybox Turbos for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Did you know you can control your Xbox One with Digital Assistants? You can configure your Xbox One to work with Alexa or Google Assistant.

To get started, set your Xbox One to Instant-on by visiting settings, then general, power mode & startup, then select instant-on from the power mode drop-down menu.

Next, enable digital assistants by visiting settings, devices & streaming, digital assistants, then select enable digital assistants.

To add Alexa, just say “Alexa, open Xbox” or search for Xbox in the skills section of the app.

To set up Google Assistant, open the Google Home app for iOS or Android, tap Add, then Set Up Device, then “have something already set up?” From there, all you need to do it sign in with the same Microsoft Account you use on Xbox.
