Xbox Game Pass had a blockbuster week with the launch of Xbox Game Studios and Ninja Theory title, Bleeding Edge. Also added this week is Astrologaster for PC, and Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid for Console and PC.  

Next, Free Play Days are on this weekend! Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play Tekken 7, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and Risk of Rain 2 for free through this weekend.

If that’s not enough free games for one weekend, Life is Strange 2 just introduced a new free trial.

A preview of Gears Tactics released today and includes the first-hands on impressions for this fast-paced, turn-based strategy game set 12 years before the first Gears of War.

Today is launch day for One Piece Pirate Warriors 4. You’ll play through memorable parts of the anime story as Luffy and the Straw Hats journey through different islands in search of the One Piece treasure. 

Borderlands 3 launched their second campaign add-on, and the title pretty much tells you everything you need to know.  

Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock, invites you to a surprisingly dangerous engagement party on the all-new ice planet.

Also, SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris is now available for pre-order, with a launch date of May 22, 2020. Pre-order the base game to receive four Design Contest costumes, or the Deluxe Edition to get the Premium Pass, a bonus Costume, and 200 SAO Coins! 

In addition to the Resident Evil 3 demo, you can now join the Resident Evil Resistance Open Beta, the brand new 4 vs. 1 asymmetrical multiplayer horror experience. The open beta runs now through launch day. 

This week Naruto joined Shinobi Striker – Season Pass 2 as a new playable character.

You can get the DLC now in Season Pass 2 or in the Master Character Training Pack - Naruto Boruto.

CODE VEIN: Lord of Thunder is here and that means it’s time to fight for survival, again.

Here you’ll be able to explore new, shocking areas of the Depths and fight powerful enemies.

Also included in the DLC are alternative Blood Veils, Blood Codes, partner costumes, weapons, and new customization items to change your look and loadout.

This new content is available now in the Season Pass or separately with the CODE VEIN: Lord of Thunder DLC.

Disney fans in Europe just got some good news, with the announcement that Disney+ is now available in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland. You can find the Disney+ app in the Microsoft Store and catch up on The Mandalorian from your Xbox One. 

Next, the Ghost Recon Breakpoint Ghost Experience update is here! Going forward, you can customize every inch of your Breakpoint experience, from realistic damage, to HUD settings, to a new private mode. You can select from pre-set modes and change your settings at any time. And you can always play with friends regardless of your settings, or theirs!

Today is launch day for Bleeding Edge, the brand-new 4v4 team fighter from Ninja Theory. You’ll suit up as one of a dozen unique brawlers, including tank, damage, and support types, each with their own unique abilities and loads of customizability. Bleeding Edge is available on Xbox One, Windows 10, Steam, and with Xbox Game Pass.

Next, the very first April Fools in-game event has just crossed our radar. World of Warships just announced their upcoming Ducks of War event, running now through April 6th. You'll duke it out in a 9-ship battle-royale in a bathtub filled with toy ducks and other bath toys. There are unique rewards to earn, plus World of Warships is free to play, and the water is just right.

Did you know we recently enabled the ability for you to view images and animated GIFs in messaging conversations with your Xbox Live friends on console? Yep, now you can send you favorite memes and GIFs directly in your messages. You can also view that content in Message Requests based on your message safety settings.

Plus, images sent from the Xbox mobile app on iOS or Android or the new Xbox (Beta) App on Windows 10 will also display on your console, with the added ability to view the content in full-screen on Xbox One.

Here’s your news for Friday the 20th of March.    

If you’re excited for the upcoming release of Resident Evil 3, you may not have to wait until April 7th to play. The Resident Evil 3 demo is out now and invites you to step into the boots of Jill Valentine as you team up with Carlos Oliveira to evacuate civilians from Racoon City. The remake of the 1999 survival horror classic has been completely modernized and we can’t wait to play this weekend. 

Xbox Game Pass added some great titles this week, including [spaced out] The Surge 2 for Console and PC, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown for Console, Kona for Console, and Machinarium for PC. 

Also out today is TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2. The game features a totally updated physics model, 17 additional tracks, 18 different motorbikes, and of course the infamous 60 kilometer Snaefell Mountain course. All that, and a brand-new open world to fine-tune your skills before the championship. 

Finally, The Bloxy [BLOCK-SEE] Awards are this weekend. The Roblox award show is happening Saturday, March 21st at 3pm Eastern. Roblox fans can watch the stream from inside the game in a one-of-a-kind experience. MY HERO ONE'S JUSTICE 2 is now live! The 3D arena fighter picks up right where the first game left off and features iconic scenes from the anime. The cast from MY HERO ONE’S JUSTICE are back alongside new characters, in addition to bigger plus ultras and lots of quirks. 

State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition launches today! The expanded and improved edition of the game adds tons of new content and improvements, including a brand-new open world map, new weapons, and upgraded graphics. Best of all, it’s a free and automatic upgrade for all existing owners of State of Decay 2.  

Juggernaut Edition is available on Xbox One, Windows 10, Steam, the Epic Store, and with Xbox Game Pass. 

Speaking of Xbox Game Pass, Pikuniku was just added for Console and PC. 

Xbox Game Pass members and those that have pre-ordered the game can also join the Bleeding Edge Closed Beta 2, running today through the 16th. Bleeding Edge is just around the corner with the full launch coming March 24th.
