Today's the Day

Casey and I are both old school dorks.  We could probably both kick your ass, so watch yourself with who you call a dork!

Vicki Kessler challenged me to listen to Love Stuff by Elle King.

Red Herring Productions Founder and Artistic Director Michael Herring has been around Columbus theatre for a long time.  He's seen some shit and done some stuff.  Listen in to find out how much shit and stuff.

Cat McAlpine challenged me to listen to Oracular Spectacular by MGMT.

Josie (not Josephine) Merkle is part of the ruling class of German Village.  Don't mess with her!  But seriously, what a nice woman with which to have a great conversation about character work and theatre in general.

Audrey Rush challenged me to listen to The Blessed Unrest by Sara Bareilles.

Allison Loeffert Challenged me to listen to the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Rent.

Teacher and local improver Alex Dodge came by to borrow a coat I have, so I made him sit down for an interview.  I think we did a pretty good job of solving all of the problems facing arts and education. You're welcome, world!

Joe Moorer challenged me to listen to To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar.

For my first ever stand-up comedian interview, I sat down with the talented Nickey Winkelman.  We bonded over our dislike of Keenan Thompson.
