New MadLab Co-Managing Director Nikki Smith and I discussed a wide array of topics ranging from how good we are at offending people & why, our mutual love of Shakespeare, and Jesus & what's next for him.

The lovely Katharine Pilcher dropped by our house to meet with the horrible one for something, so I decided it would be a good time to get in a nice, easy going interview.  Little did I know we'd talk virtually nothing but politics.  At least we solved all the world's problems.  Yay us!!

I leant the use of my studio to old newsman and friend of my family, Mr. Randall Doverman.  I have a great deal of respect for Mr. Doverman and the work he's done over the years.  I hope you find him insightful as he kicks off his new segment "The Critic's Critique".

I wanted to take a moment to let you all know what's coming up in the future of the show and how my 2015 went.  Hopefully this isn't too boring, but at least it's short!!And keep an eye out for a 2nd episode dropping tonight right after this one!  Two for the price of zero!!

I interviewed everyone's favorite improviser - Mr. Joe Teeters!  This one was pretty straight forward.  We talked about some improv, a little more improv, and....oh yeah....some improv!

My old friend Anthony Pellecchia was in town from his new teaching job at the University of Memphis and popped into chat.  Warning for all you actors out there - lots of technical theatre talk going on here.  Find your light!!

For the last episode of 2015, my niece Sage Schmalenberger sat down with me so I could tease her....er.....talk to her for a while.  She's an interesting young lady, even if she did go to Briggs High School, which she is very proud to have attended.

The co-Artistic Director of Available Light Theatre stopped by to chat a little about transitions, pro wrestling, and oh yeah, some theatre.

Can you think of two better jerks to sit around and talk improv, Budweiser Ritas, OCD tendencies, and the difference between geeks, nerds, and dorks?  If so, don't tell me, because I really don't want to meet those guys.

What a great time it was catching up with my old friend Sarah Brunet.  She's a bonafide New Yorker now, but still enjoys slumming it with the likes of little old me.  She may be older than she used to be, but she'll always be 24 to me!
