Episode ten is all about us discussing the importance of inviting pain and suffering into our lives. Whether we want it or not, hardships and adversity will come our way. Those who are more prepared for the storms in life will actually come out stronger because of those storms. We discuss how pain is necessary in bringing attention to areas that may need change. Furthermore, most of the time we are blind to our pain until it is so unbearable. We discuss how pain must have a purpose and how we can show how far we still have in our potential. We also cover financial pains and give some great examples of how pain can be one of the greatest teachers in life. Pain is never good, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a place in your personal growth journey.

In episode nine, we discuss strategies for effective communication and how to have positive interactions. We first covered how honesty with ourselves should be the first step in communicating. If our actions don't reflect the words we say, then nothing we try to do in influencing someone will matter. We also cover a key component in communication, which is respect, especially when we're discussing a concept where there are opposing sides. We then unraveled the power of empathy, but also detachment from the emotional side of an interaction. We then discussed how key it is to listen and eliminate our ego when interacting with others. We finished off talking about having others find the answer themselves. It's not necessarily about what you're TELLING someone, it's more about what they HEAR from the words you say and the ACTIONS you show. This episode is part one of a "one take" style podcast, it segways directly into episode 10, which covers how we can utilize pain and suffering for our benefit. Please leave a rating if you enjoyed the show and check out our socials for redline challenges and clips!

In episode eight, we discuss the key aspects of self-awareness and how standards should be the foundation of how we live life. Surrounding ourselves with people who bear the desired fruits of life is one of the first ways we can have awareness of who we can become. We also cover the idea that people are either energy drains or energy fountains.
We also discussed how standards lead to accountability for ourselves and those we surround ourselves with and how that bleeds into the thoughts, actions, and beliefs we hold. We cover how the best way to influence people in our life is through actions, rather than words.
Finally, we dive into the aspects of growth through a strong foundation of standards and how much more potential we can have when surrounded by the right people who keep us in line.

In episode seven, we compare the concept of over consuming versus under consuming. Not primarily focusing on food related consumption, however, more so the content and information we consume through online entities.
Through listening to this episode, audience members will gain an understanding that ingredients are only good if we use them, but too many ingredients can also be ineffective. We discuss the idea that we should produce more than we consume, be more meaningful with our time, and how boredom sparks creativity.
We give actionable steps and how we can appreciate simplicity, welcome in other perspectives, diversify who we follow, set screen limits to mitigate mindless scrolling, and ultimately defeat “infobesity”. There are a plethora of amazing perspectives, insights, and information in this world, but we must be able to focus on what's important.

In episode six, we discuss the idea of the feeling of home. Yes, it's important to have that comfortable environment where we can go. But we must ask ourselves, "Why do I feel at home in some places but not in others?"
In episode five, we discuss the concept of flow state and how it applies to using our time more effectively. We talk about being “in the zone” and how time seems to fly once we acquire flow in an activity. We compare overthinking versus underthinking and determine different methods of creating a flow-state environment. In order to gain a flow state, one of the first steps is eliminating the distractions of today's culture. We uncover the concept that we must have trust in ourselves and our abilities to pursue the state of flow and also pursue the gifts and desires God has granted us. We finish with actionable steps and how you can create more flow in your daily life.
