Consider this... God has called YOU to lead. Maybe not in an official position, but in the life of a person. Here's the thing: if you are a believer and follower of Jesus, God has called you to make disciples; and discipleship is being an intentional leader to at least one person at a time.

Your Personal DiscipleShift

Satan is constantly assaulting God's design for relationships. He will use whatever is at his disposal to twist God's good gift of love and relationships into some cheap, perverted knockoff. 

Why? There are many answers. One of the most important? The Word of God reveals that the Biblical Foundation for Discipleship is RELATIONSHIPS! When Jesus made disciples, he made them in the context of authentic, meaningful, personal relationships. In short... kill relationships, kill The Great Commission.

How should the Church counter this assault? By looking to Jesus and His example to understand what real relationships look like!

In a world of fake new and artificial intelligence, people are looking for more. We want something REAL, something AUTHENTIC, something MEANINGFUL.

The significance we crave can only be found in God's purposes and design. In Matthew 4:19, Jesus said, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." This call was not general, it was personal... a call to become like Jesus and help others become more like Him.

Last week, we saw God's design in the sanctity of human life. This week, we will consider the sanctity of human death. It is God who appoints a time for a person to be born and to die. God has set death apart - it is sacred to Him. But death can be painful, confusing, and scary for us. If death is by design, how can we reconcile our feelings about death with the goodness of God?

When we understand death from a biblical perspective, we come to see this reality: By Design, the goodness of God is revealed through death. How can that be?
