Love Never Fails

After three weeks of observing how Paul elevates love in 1 Corinthians 13, we arrive at the final verses.

In these verses, Paul acknowledges that he was once an immature child. At that time, certain characteristics defined him. However, when Paul grew up, he put away childish things.

God's plan is for all of us to grow up into spiritual maturity in our love for God. But here's the big question... how do we grow into spiritual maturity in our love for God like Paul did?

Love Never Fails

This world and our lives here are temporary and passing away. Few things we know and see now will last forever. But in 1 Corinthians 13, Paul reveals that LOVE NEVER FAILS. That means it will never faulter, never fall, and never come to an end.

There are some impressive things in this world that will fail, cease, and vanish away. In today's message, we'll dive into that which is "in part" that will pass away when the perfect arrives. What are those things? What do they teach us about the significance of love?

Love Never Fails

In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, Paul describes love in a very particular way. What he says about love could have been simpler, or it could have been greatly expounded upon. But Paul chooses these precise words to describe what love is like.

Why did Paul specifically describe love like this? How does this passage connect back to the letter as a whole? What can we learn about remaining in love from this depiction of love?

It's a beautiful, poetic passage on love... but it is so much more than just that.
