In this episode, I share a real shift in my thinking around GLP-1 medications and their role in weight loss.
Like many coaches, my initial reaction was skepticism. But as I’ve learned more—and listened to what people are actually dealing with—I’ve come to see GLP-1s as a tool that can be incredibly helpful when used the right way and for the right reasons.
Today’s environment makes weight loss harder than ever. Chronic stress, highly processed foods, sedentary lifestyles, and information overload all work against our biology. For women especially, hormonal changes throughout life can make fat loss more complex and frustrating, even when they’re doing “everything right.”
That’s where coaching matters.
One of the biggest concerns with GLP-1 use is muscle loss, along with changes in appetite that can make it harder to eat enough—especially enough protein. This is why strength training and proper nutrition aren’t optional. They’re essential.
Coaches are in a unique position to help people protect lean muscle, prioritize protein, build strength, and create structure and accountability while navigating weight loss—whether GLP-1s are part of the journey or not.
I also talk about how TS Fitness may explore offering GLP-1 support through a trusted third-party in the future, so we can better support members who choose this path and help them reach their goals in a safe, effective, and sustainable way.

It’s about understanding the reality people are living in—and meeting them with education, empathy, and a smarter strategy.
