This is the finale. Episodes 6 & 7 of Tales from the Dankside.

The voice has stopped announcing itself. Things are moving before he does. Words are coming out that don't feel like his. And the mirror… he stopped looking at it directly.
Because every time he does…
it doesn't line up.
He doesn't think it's copying him anymore. He thinks it just lets him believe that. Because somewhere along the way… he stopped being sure which one of them is actually in control.

And at the end… his name. One last time.

He knew he shouldn't.

He answered anyway.

Episode 5 of Tales from the Dankside. One word. That's all it took.
And the second it left his mouth… everything shifted. The room felt heavier.
His body felt delayed. And then he heard it back - his own voice - saying exactly what he just said.

Now he doesn't know which one of them spoke first. Short tales. Sticky thoughts. Lingering shadows.

It used to sound almost like him.
Now it sounds exactly like him.

Episode 4 of Tales from the Dankside. The small differences are gone.
The voice has it down - the tone, the timing, everything.

And now that it's got it right… it's just waiting for one thing. A response.

"What if sleep wasn’t just dangerous, what if it was outlawed? In tonight’s HIT, we take you inside a town where dreams are treason, shadows crawl behind your eyelids, and falling asleep might mean never waking up again. Light up, lean in, and whatever you do… don’t close your eyes."
