I don't know anyone who likes being sick, and I know that throughout my life I have pushed through illness like it was just a minor inconvenience.

A lot of that changed with having children and especially in the past two years of COVID-19. 

Today we talk about being sick and the reaction to being sick over the years.  

The events of May 24, 2022 in Texas are heavy on my heart right now and I just needed to say something.

As a teacher I have found that many of my students will learn through stories. 

I tell stories in my classroom to both teach about music, and musicians, but to also teach about life.
