Tom the Preacher

People are asking (and debating) if we are seeing a revival in America. One thing that is not debatable is what revival looked like in the New Testament. Join me for today's Daily Word & Prayer as we look at what happened, and can happen again when people imitate Paul's example

Need prayer? I know that's a dumb question; we all need prayer and probably for a lot more than we realize. Scripture says over and again that if we call on the Lord, He will hear us, rescue us, and do something else that's pretty amazing.
Join me for today's  Daily Word & Prayer as I pray for you, your family, your church, and our nation.

Part of the social contract under which we operate in America is that our public schools will prepare our children to be good people and productive citizens.  Every now and then, we get a glimpse into how that trust can be violated. We saw a stunning example of that yesterday -- May 1st. Join me for today's  Daily Word & Prayer to learn more.

It's truly sad how many people go through life without any real sense of purpose. And it shows. Tired and worn out, they look for temporary pick-me-ups that give them a reason to keep on living. Paul had something much better, and he calls us to join him in living life with a purpose. Join me for today's  Daily Word & Prayer to learn more.
