TomCast: A weekly mixtape of independent, web released music episodes

  • TomCast 028: All the indie music!

Apologies for the lack of a show last week, but as I explained in the last show I was climbing a mountain in Wales with a bunch of mates.  We also did trampolining underground in a disused slate mine.

But you didn’t come here for my outdoor adventure anecdotes, you came for music.  This week I’ve picked out a bunch of great alternative, indie, and indietronica for you to enjoy.

  • TomCast 024: From Punk To EDM

My studio/spare room was absolutely sweltering while I recorded this week’s show, my iMac acts as surprisingly good radiator and if I’d have opened the window you probably would have heard the neighbour’s barbecue in full swing.

But not one to be bothered by heat, I persevered to bring you 7 great tracks from across the web, with punk from Chicago and Wales, metal from Russia, and Dubstep from Germany.  You’re welcome!

Following on from last week’s indie rock based show, this week I wanted to turn it up a notch with some heavier tunes.

Starting off with some bluesy rock from Atomic Man, the show gets progressively heavier until your faces are melted by some brutal heavy metal courtesy of Flayed Disciple.
