I’m still having major difficulties with my internet connection, but at least this week I do have one.  Currently I’m running at 1Mb/s download speeds which means it take about 20 minutes to download an album.  A painful experience.

Also, I’ve had a fairly hectic and entertaining weekend and I’m feeling a tad fragile today so I’ve made an easy show, just 7 tracks back to back and a round up at the end.

Getting this week’s podcast sorted has caused some issues. My internet died on the day I’d set aside for research and recording so I couldn’t do that at home.  Instead, I bundled my iMac, mic and other peripherals in my car and headed to my parent’s house, only to find that their internet is down as well.

Not one to let trivial things like this get in the way I’ve recorded a show with music that I already had on my computer. As I write this on the WordPress app, I’m dreading the process of uploading the podcast and artwork via 3G on my phone.  Hopefully it makes its way to your ears. I’ll make sure the tracklist is up to date as soon as I can.

Quick side note because I’ve had a good week for various reasons.  The first is that I’ve now got a proper microphone  so the quality of my voice recording is now much better!  Woop!

Also, I had this week off work so I spent some time designing some new artwork for TomCast (now you don’t have to put up with my speaker cone infested face!).  I’m not much of a designer though, and there’s no way I could produce a vectored cassette tape.  Of course, the internet solved the problem, so I would like to thank Antoniu over at his webpage Fuzzimo, he does loads of graphic design stuff and puts it out there for people to use, you should check it out!
