A lot of navel gazing about work, art, play, and why I seem to be having so much trouble dealing with The Wizard’s Cat.

I floundered around today trying to find things to talk about. Finished Mage from Nowhere. Reading MR Forbes. Playing Eve and Prosperous (Preposterous) Universe.

I really need to get out earlier.

A late start this morning. Meandered around a lot. Talked about B T Narro’s The Mage from Nowhere and playing alpha accounts on Eve Online.

Don’t know if I’m just sensitive to it today or it was the timing or what but it felt really noisy out there this morning. Met one of the neighbors – Jake – who really wanted to know about my taking the picture every day.

I got out early this morning because the internet was down and I figured it was a sign. The service dropped sometime around 7pm last night and didn’t come back until just a few minutes ago. Losing the links we rely on for so much always puts me off balance. Not being able to do anything about it? Frustration.

It’s back now and I can post.

I talked way too much about Eve Online in the beginning and then too much about the Wizard’s Cat at the end.

Weird thing to be thinking about while walking but I was.

Another cool, clear morning. I’m hoping we’ve seen the end of the hot weather here, but I’m pretty sure this is just a respite before the hammer comes back down.

I talked about Erik Schubach, Eve Online, and the Cat this morning.

I slept in a bit then fooled around on the internet too long. My penance is walking under the broiling sun.

Not really. Mostly, a lovely cool morning that wasn’t really hot unless I walked in direct sunlight.

I talked about Erik Schubach’s Elfed series and Matt Pivots Whisper of Iron.

Like “film at 11” except only audio and no fires or murders or anything. Mostly just what’s been happening over the last week and where I am on thinking about the cat, the other Cat, and Ishmael.
