I know it happens every week and it’s not like it matters to my daily schedule … I guess it’s just a lifetime of “Must be Monday” has poisoned my well.

Lots of boot noise today.

Overnight cloud cover kept the heat in and the walk was sticky and unpleasant.

I’m trying to think of it as the first 100 miles even as I tick down toward Day 2000 – a 4000 mile journey over the years.

I’m still doing a lot of thinking about that first mile issue and why the first mile seems so difficult.

I talked a lot about motivation – and lack thereof – this morning.

I like the mornings that start of a little chilly. I talked about Cape Grace a bit and the event coming up this weekend.

At 3AM and again at 3:30. Not the most restful of nights.

I managed to get out and back before 7AM today.

It’s the hardest. It was also 75F when I got up at 6AM today. :/
