Face of the Washington Capitals, Alex Ovechkin surprised many in the DC area on September 10 to promote the release of his cereal, Ovi O’s available exclusively at Giant Grocery Stores. He started the day at Arlington Traditional School and went to the children's oncology unit at Medstar Georgetown Medical Hospital.

His last stop was at Giant Grocery store in Cathedral Commons where he stocked the cereal aisle with his Ovi O’s. He then tried his skills at the cash register ringing up fans and signing his cereal boxes.
