Verses 1 - 23. Jesus' trial before Pilate. The release of Barabbas and the condemnation of Jesus. The height of sin: the guilty go free and the innocent are jailed. God uses that horrible frameup to save humanity for all those who believe in Jesus.

Gideon defeats the Midianites. God is with Gideon and even the enemies of God's people know that God is with Gideon as Gideon overhears a conversation.

Verses 39 - 71. Jesus is betrayed and arrested. Jesus tells the Pharisees that out of their own mouths, they have said that He is the Son of God.

Verses 1 - 38. The Last Supper of Jesus. Jesus preparing them for the shock of what is to come (but they not 'understanding' the full context of what he is saying). The 'beginning' of the New Covenant - and its replacement of the Old Covenant.

God makes Gideon a judge of Israel. Like Jesus, Gideon comes from humble beginnings. Gideon, like all Christians, has doubts if God has called him to do something - and needs assurance and reassurance that He is on the God-ordained path and not a path of his own making.

The last of Jesus' teaching before arrest and crucifixion - and Resurrection. The prophecy of what would happen in the 79 A.D. and also ... the Last Days (soon to come?)

The Song of Deborah. The Song of Victory for Israel. The Song of victory through God. God will make you victorious. Without God, there is no victory, just nothingness. Like Sisera's mother, the world believes that there is victory without God.

There's a couple of haters out there: the Pharisees and Sadducees (sad you see). But Jesus rises above their arguments. God the Father says to King Jesus - and to us through the Holy Spirit of the bible - to sit at His right hand till the time is right and all things are fulfilled.

Deborah becomes Israel's Judge. A general gets a tent peg through the temple. God gives Israel victory over King Jabin of Hazor.
