God expends effort for the sinner that has put no effort into the relationship and only cares about no one else but 'self'.

Joshua is an old man (110 years old approximately). His final words to Israel: cling to God and do as He says or you will lose your life, heritage and land. All believers cling to God through Jesus the Savior and Messiah.
