Now the thought police on the right don't like George Kennan (the list gets longer and longer!). Plus the death penalty, and more.
Tom welcomes back Darryl Cooper of Martyr Made for a potpourri episode on the state of the American right.
They start with the fallout from the National Conservatism Conference in Jerusalem, where Amanda Milius, Jonathan Keeperman (Lomez), and Matt Peterson warned a right-wing Israeli audience that personal attacks and career destruction over criticism of Israel are losing the American right. That goodwill message drew vicious backlash from both the Groyper side and neocon / Barry Weiss-adjacent circles.
Then the absurd George Kennan episode: James Lindsay flagged a photo of Kennan in Amanda's old White House office and linked it to Darryl Cooper. Tom and Darryl discuss who Kennan actually was — architect of Cold War containment, realist on Israel in 1948 alongside George Marshall, critic of NATO expansion in the 1990s, and author of the famous Germany-1913 quote — and why Pat Buchanan is now on the same forbidden list.

Former Rasmussen pollster Mark Mitchell, now of The Honest Poll, talks about how polls deceive us, and the unraveling of MAGA.
Mark Mitchell spent 5-6 years rebuilding Rasmussen before he walked away. Why? He says his criticism of the Iran strike jeopardized a check from a right-leaning PAC — and an independent pollster can’t work like that.
In this episode, Mark breaks down how push polls actually work: hidden sponsors, reporting 1 question out of 30 asked, dropping recalled vote to get a fake lead, and loading war questions with “Trump ordered” and “end the nuclear program” to manufacture consent.
The centerpiece: the same Iran regime-change strike polled at 37% support when asked neutrally — vs 56% support when worded as a successful Trump-ordered mission. Same question, 40-point difference. That’s how Iran war polls sell wars.
Plus: the CNN “100% MAGA support” troll Trump fell for, why Trump approval is collapsing with independents and under-40 voters, the failure to convert the 2024 coalition, and why young pragmatists just want the system fixed.

Stefan joins us to discuss one of his signature issues: peaceful parenting — what it actually means, why reason works earlier than most parents think, and how the way we raise children shapes the future of liberty.
In Episode #2803, Tom Woods talks with Stefan Molyneux about raising children without aggression, and why the non-aggression principle starts in the home. Stefan explains how his background, work in daycare, and his wife's work in early childhood development led him to make parenting central to his philosophy of freedom.

A potpourri episode covering Martin Luther King, Jr., immigration and the Founding Fathers, the unknown history of states' rights, and how to survive and prosper in a hostile world.
Recorded solo from a Denver hotel room, Tom revisits his book 33 Questions About American History You're Not Supposed to Ask (2007) and tackles the questions you're not supposed to ask:
Was MLK the "colorblind conservative" neocons claim? Tom reads King's own words on compensatory programs, material redistribution, "reconstruction of the entire society," and democratic socialism.
What did Jefferson, Hamilton, and Franklin actually warn about mass immigration, language, and national spirit? Plus the unknown story of states' rights — from the Alien and Sedition Acts in 1798, to Northern nullification, conscription, tariffs, and Wisconsin defying the Fugitive Slave Act.
Plus a lightning round from the book: Indians and the environment, liberals and war, the Iroquois and the Constitution, the Civil War, the Great Depression, and more.
Then a pivot to the present: with the dollar down 29% since 2020, how do we practically shepherd our families through deranged times? Tom shares what’s working inside his School of Life community.

Independent Pollster Rich Baris discusses his new book Burn It Down: What the Polls Say Young Americans Really Want.
Why are so many 18 to 29-year-olds saying their life feels like a failure? Why did conservative identification peak in 2020 and keep falling? And why didn't young voters automatically get more conservative as they aged?
Baris explains his core idea of two movies on one screen — boomers vs. everybody else — Boomer 1 vs. Boomer 2, blocked political maturation on marriage, homeownership and family, and why the Mamdani vote in New York was about basic needs, not Trump.
Plus: why calling someone socialist no longer works, ledger politics vs. ladder politics, DEI and H-1B anger among young white men, trade jobs and immigration, the Iran war betrayal, Michigan flipping from Trump 2024 to 55-30 against Republicans with youth, the broken housing affordability promise, the 2-to-1 demographic clock, and what comes after MAGA.

Scott Horton updates us on Iran, Gaza, and Ukraine.
On Iran: a stalemate, not a ceasefire. The U.S. and Iran are running dueling blockades in the Gulf, oil is still moving by land, and neither side can force a decision. Trump has no path to victory but keeps doubling down after betting on Netanyahu's promise of a quick win.
On Gaza: completely obliterated and now visible on Google Earth. Israel has taken at least half the Strip behind the so-called yellow line, the Trump/Kushner Riviera plan means removal, and the strategy is to destroy every home, hospital, and school so there's nothing to return to. Smotrich now threatens the same for the West Bank.
On Ukraine: 4.5 years in, Russia is winning very slowly in a war of attrition. The 2022 deal was killed by the U.S./Brits, Milley wanted talks while Blinken wanted war, and Europe is now paying to keep U.S. weapons flowing. A possible compromise: Ukraine leaves the rest of Donetsk, Russia freezes in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.
Scott Horton directs the Libertarian Institute and is author of Enough Already, Provoked, and Fool's Errand.

Dr. Joseph Sansone joins us to discuss his book, Psychopathic Authoritarianism: A Disease of the Soul.
In this episode, Tom and Dr. Sansone break down the psychology of tyranny — why rulers crave control, and why so many people go along with it.

Darryl Cooper joins me for the conversation the thought controllers, who call everything "racism" like the mental midgets they are, won't allow.
In this episode I welcome back Darryl Cooper (@MartyrMade of the Martyr Made podcast) for the immigration discussion the gatekeepers on both Left and Right won't let us have.
We start with the past week's X brawl over immigration, American identity, and assimilation — James Lindsay invoking Hitler over Teddy Roosevelt quotes, the Joel Berry "were the Founders racist?" trap, and the guy who got called "woke right" for quoting Gouverneur Morris on foreign influence.
Darryl makes the serious case no one else will touch: why first-generation newcomers value openness while their grandkids will want heritage, why the 1924-1965 pause is what actually created "Americans" out of Irish, Italian, and Jewish immigrants, why an Ellis Island family assimilates but transplanted enclaves don't, and why Hart-Celler colliding with the Civil Rights Act turned a Black-white settlement into a 70% spoils system.
We also cover voting blocs and balkanization, why an 80/20 society governs completely differently than a 40/20/10 society, UK jury data and who actually wanted colorblind law, Texas going from 88% to 38% white in 30 years, and why the only way back to "yeah, go Texas" is shutting immigration down for a generation and letting everyone breathe.
Second half: Darryl previews his massive new Martyr Made series — World War II from the German perspective, starting with the collapse of three empires, 1918-1919 revolutions, refugees, the Bavarian Soviet Republics, and the Freikorps violence that brutalized a generation.

Mikkel Thorup, the world's most sought-after expat expert, discusses what almost no American thinks about: building an intentional family legacy to last generations. The state may undermine the family, but you can make something great out of yours.
In Episode 2797 of The Family vs. the State: Think 100 Years Ahead | Tom Woods Show #2797, Tom Woods welcomes back Mikkel Thorup for a conversation that goes far beyond Plan B residencies and second passports.
Mikkel explains how his decade of work on offshore structuring in Panama and Nevis evolved into family governance — family offices, family trusts and foundations, investment policy statements, family constitutions, and mission statements that teach the next generation how to steward wealth instead of burning through it.

In 2001, Ron Paul called it exactly right.
In this clip from the Tom Woods Show, Tom breaks down how Dr. Paul warned on the House floor during the dot-com bust that the Fed couldn't leave well enough alone — instead of letting the crash play out, they would pump up a real estate bubble that was destined to crash.
That's exactly what happened. 2001 was the only recession on record where housing starts went UP, as Fed policy and federal housing policy inflated the bubble that burst in 2008.
Totally vindicated.
