Parents and caregivers, do you know of a budding marine biologist? A high school
student with a burning passion for the sea and its unique creatures? Someone whose
purpose is to learn all about the ocean animals of the South African coast, from
plankton to coral and share that with others…
I’m delighted to share that the Two Oceans Aquarium is once again opening their doors
to hopeful students that wish to follow a career in Marine Biology.
The Two Oceans Aquarium will again be running courses in 2020 for Grade 10-12
students interested in Marine Biology – all you need to do is apply. Applications for the
Phytoplankton, Algae and Animal Phyla in South African coastal waters course is
offered at no charge, to 50 grade 11s and 12s who show a keen interest in marine
sciences and who may wish to pursue a career in this field.
