The gang discuss the shocking conclusion to The Final Empire. Kayleigh continues to make wild speculations about what is going to happen in the trilogy while Andy and Shirley try to avoid giving any hints and generally mock the fanfiction she’s creating for this series.
In this episode Andy, Shirley and Kayleigh discuss the first three parts of the final empire. This is Brandon Sanderson's first trilogy in the Mistborn series. Shirley and Andy have both read this series before, Kayleigh has not. So there is the benefit of looking at the book through the eyes of new and old readers (However no spoilers of things we have not read yet.) We delve into themes in the book such as power and religion and even manage to fit in a reference to the lion king. We review our feelings on the book and main characters and Kayleigh discuss her predictions for how the book and series may continue and end.
Halloween is upon us and Too Many Damn Wizards start with an appropriately spooky book. Join the gang talk about the Horror genre and Stephen King's legacy within it, themes of Family and Racism in 'The Shining' and decide which character is our 'Wizard of the Week'.
