Too Much Screentime

Dave, Anselm, Shantae, and Alex review Netflix's best picture nominee The Trial of the Chicago 7. From writer-director Aaron Sorkin, the legal drama is based on the infamous trial of 7 anti-Vietnam War protestors charged by the federal government with conspiracy and inciting riots at the 1968 Democratic National Convention.

The team debates the resurgence of the courtroom thriller, breaks down Sorkin's political idealism, and discusses the film's handling of race.

I want to play a game. Over three rounds, Judge and Queen Shantae chooses an A-List actor, and Anselm, Alex, and Dave will compete with one another by pitching to Shantae their best performance. How will Shantae rule and who will be crowned the winner? Listen to find out!

P.S. Alex may or may not be good at this game (spoiler alert: he is not...)
