The guys return for another great episode of Too Noobs, in which they talk about the recent mishandling practices of classified documents by U.S. government officials, discuss actor Alec Baldwin facing involuntary manslaughter charges over a gun accident, whether it's ethical or not (spoilers: it's the latter) on science's attempts to try and bring extinct animals back from the dead, and close the episode with a fascinating discussion on tipping in the United States and whether there is a silent protest growing on being required to leave a tip.
Another great Too Noobs Talking episode is on tap, as Steve returns from his son's tournament in Hershey from last week and promptly hacks up a hairball! After checking up on him, the guys talk about an amazing (and yes, a real) story involving a hacker explaining how easy it is to hack and broadcast through a decommissioned satellite, rant on how meteorologists talk about the weather (spoilers: it's not very good, it's very confusing and frustrating), discuss about how Apple is going through a 3rd class action law suit (much to Steve's glee and joy), and conclude the episode by poking some fun at Norman Julius Esiason and his co-host acting like fools on a recent broadcast of the "Boomer and Gio" show.
Another episode of "Two" Noobs Talking comes to your listening and viewing pleasure (well, maybe not viewing)! With Steve experiencing technical issues in "Pennsyl-tukcy" (aka Hershey, PA with his son's hockey tournament), the OGs (Matt and John) chat about the Biden administration mulling over banning gas stoves from the marketplace (?), John Tortorella's decision to remove iPads from the Philadelphia Flyers bench, the FAA airline meltdown due to an "honest mistake" (their words, not Too Noobs'), and finish the episode by sharing their thoughts on Conor McDavid's recent comments wanting to end the shootout in the NHL.
Welcome to another impactful and thoughtful episode of Too Noobs Talking, where this week, the guys reflect and give love and respect to Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin for suffering through (and ultimately, through miraculous intervention, survived) a cardiac arrest in Cincinnati during Monday Night Football. In addition, the guys conduct a thought experiment (from Steve) on whether or not the Idaho cops were truly incompetent or outsmarted the criminal in a recent high-profile murder case, trash Jeff Bezos' idea of a "work-life circle" (whatever that means), and openly wonder if Steve has to look over his shoulder with AI being implemented in a speeding/traffic case.
Welcome to another year of Too Noobs Talking! To kick off 2023, the guys talk about billionaire Charlie Munger lamenting over everybody's complaints over how difficult life is compared to the Great Depression, review a rare act of sportsmanship on the NHL rink (but wonder if this would be repeated in the Stanley Cup Final), discuss a highly controversial science experiment involving weather balloons and sulfur, and debate whether or not Matt's gripe on the "Transformers" movie from 2007 can be turned into a lawsuit or not.
To close out 2022, Too Noobs presents a "Best Of Show", highlighting all of their favorite topics discussed during this past year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone!
