It's another big game at St James' Park this weekend as Newcastle play host to Wolves. With Newcastle's form taking a nosedive recently and Wolves picking up points, it promises to be an interesting game in which both teams really need three points for very different reasons.

Jack and Dimi review the Magpies' 2-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium as Newcastle's eight game unbeaten away run came to an end.

Newcastle played well between the boxes again, and matched the champions for long periods of the game, but were punished for more awful finishing in front of goal. Callum Wilson and Joelinton missed gilt-edged chances and City were clinical with their opportunities.

We have a look at the starting lineup, which caused a storm pre-game, and analyse what the Magpies can do to get back on the scoresheet. Will it be a change in personnel or does it need more than that?

We consider what has gone wrong since the turn of the year and what can be done to arrest the slide.

Keegan is joined by Bobby to preview this weekend big clash away to Manchester City . The boys talk about the FA Cup weekend comedown, what can the side do to get back on the winners list and Bobby puts his manager tracksuit on and gives his starting XI for this weekends game. The big day arrived, the team were suited and booted, the fans had turned up in their many thousands, and the stage was set for a famous victory for the Black & Whites.

However, despite the week long preparations and decades long wait for a Wembley victory, Newcastle United once failed to find the net in a final ultimately losing 2-0 to Manchester United.

A 13 minute self destructive spell saw Liverpool beat Newcastle United by two clear goals at St James Park, ending the clubs unbeaten League run and inflicting the first loss of the season at home this season.  

Mark and Dimi look over the mad series of events as Newcastle succumb to their second defeat of the season against the same opponents that inflicted their first.  In front of a packed out St James Park and a crowd showing plenty of emotion on the back of celebrations of what would have been Sit Bobby Robson's 90th birthday as well as commiserating the confirmed death of former player Christian Atsu, a 13 minute period of what can only be described as a calamity proved to be decisive, sloppy defending costing two goals before a horrendous decision by Nick Pope to try and clear a through ball had him seeing red and will miss the Carabao Cup game next weekend.  

Not your average day at St James Park of late and far more reminiscent of yester-years, will this be the start of a slide or will this prove to be the kick up the arse needed to push and and most of all secure the first major domestic trophy for countless decades?

Craig is joined by Keegan as they preview the huge game at St James' Park this weekend as we play host to Klopp's Liverpool in what promises to be a belter of game as Eddie and his might mags will no doubt want revenge on from the reverse fixture earlier on this season when Liverpool came out 2-1 winners with the last kick off the ball.

On a day in which both Arsenal and Brighton dropped points, and Spurs suffered a thumping defeat, the stage was set for NUFC to take 3 points and secure their position in the top 4 away to Bournemouth in the evening kick off.  As it was however, Bournemouth took a shock lead mid way through the first half after a lot of early dominance from the toon. NUFC hit back on the stroke of half time to go in to the break on equal footing and the stage was set for a determined second half to take all three points.  Unfortunately it was Bournemouth who came the closest to take the spoils, Newcastle needing Trippier on the line to save the point we had and ensure we didnt leave empty handed.  In truth this was a low quality game with very few chances and an awful lot of play acting from both sides to win free kicks, with the ultimate outcome being a very scrappy encounter.  Join Lee, Jack and Craig as we talk about the game and ponder the performances of ASM, Burn and in particular Isak.

Keegan and Dimi welcome Aussie sports broadcasting legend and huge Newcastle fan Adam Peacock back to the Toon Under Podcast.

We ask Adam what Qatar was like to work in during the World Cup, what he makes of Garang Kuol's move to St James' Park and what it means for the development of young players in Australia.

Adam was in the U.K. before the World Cup and he attended some Newcastle games. We chat to him about that experience, as well as getting his thoughts on the present situation at the club and prospects for the short, medium and long-term future.

Finally, we preview the Bournemouth game on Saturday, as the Magpies look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.
