We're back, fresh off Maddie's forgotten dance and Abby's meltdown. The future of the ALDC rests on Chloe's shoulders this week, and Abby is doing everything in her power to see Chloe fail. We pack up our props (giant stiletto included) and head for LA where the competition is fierce and cute dances can't save us. Kelly is an idiot, Melissa is a doormat, and Taylor is back. Fresh off auditions at the Joffrey the girls book it to New Jersey where the humiliations keep piling up. Maddie finally crumbles under the pressure, Cathy and her Candy Apples come by to rub salt in the wounds, Holly calls out Abby's blatant favoritism and Abby makes us all uncomfortable when she asks Holly to spank her. As Abby flees the scene in tears, we're all left wondering... Can the ALDC survive 10th place?

An episode so full of thrills, chills, and spills we had to cut it into two parts! Pick those jaws up off the floor and believe it, baby. In this first half alone we get cracks starting to form in the Ziegler dance dynasty, the girls get shamed for their neon dance wear, the moms get their wrists slapped about ballet etiquette, and we all learn to RESPECT THE ART FORM. Meanwhile Cathy watches from the sidelines shoving a pizza pie in her pie hole and making snide remarks. Inject it into our veins!

The girls are headed to Michigan and this time it's not just the judges they have to impress! That's right, a scout from the Joffrey is going to be there. No, not that Joffrey. An independent Joffrey Ballet School in New York that has zero affiliation with the prestigious Chicago dance company. Oh well, what's the difference? We're going to plow ahead under delusions of grandeur. We get another trip to the foot doctor, Melissa continues to be evasive, and Kelly talks about boobs. Join us, won't you?

Kelly and Christi send Melissa to the brink with their seemingly friendly questions about her engagement, which is, for reasons unknown, a taboo subject. Melissa gets her lawyers on the phone. The other moms get cease and desist letters. We're all confused. Meanwhile the girls are headed to Chicago to face off against the Candy Apples and the question on everyone's mind is: Can Maddie beat Mr. Justice, the knight in shiny armor? Truly a nail-biter. Clowns abound, both on and off stage.

The gals take it to Miami for a little fun in the sun! But things turn not-so-fun pretty quickly when Paige's debilitating wart problem (you read that right!) almost threatens to take her out of the trio, and Holly is told to "go to hell" by an angry Abby Lee Miller. Meanwhile in Ohio, Cathy gets little Kendall a gig dancing with the Harlem Globetrotters and Jill sees dollar signs. We also recap the lost showgirls episode and discuss Chloe's rarely seen beef jerky commercial.

We're back from our summer break! Jill storms out in a huff and hoofs it over to Ohio with little Kendall in the ultimate act of betrayal. Nia finally makes it to the top of the pyramid, only to have her moment robbed. The ladies try on wedding dresses. The dads (kind of) make and appearance. And Melissa is DEFINITELY NOT getting married.

The girls are given guns and instructed to "blow the competition away." Literal murder instructions or fun wordplay? We can never be sure with Abby Lee Miller.
