Top Row Reds

Well, our ability to record decent audio quality was about as good as the Olyroo's footballing quality against Egypt. What a disaster!

Anyway, here's a pod about the absolute mess our national sides seem to be in under Graham Arnold, sprinkled with some positivity about the Matilda's; who've found their way through to a Quarter Final at Tokyo 2020 (2021).

We also discussed the woes of poor Man Utd fans who have to put up with their side buying players all the time. Sad reacts only.

Is there an off-season? Apparently not.

The u23 Aussie lads get a huge result against Argentina, and the Matilda's found their way back to the winners circle against New Zealand. We discussed the good and the bad of Australia's Olympic performances so far, plus a bit of chat about the big money moves across Europe, and the state of football in the world of Covid.

Will there ever be an off-season? Apparently not.

The Australian u23 lads got themselves a huge result over Argentina, and the Matilda's made their way back to the winners circle with victory over New Zealand. We discussed the good, the bad, and the ugly of both fixtures, as well as some of the big money moves across Europe, and the state of football in a world of Covid.

The football may not have come home, but it certainly keeps on going! We covered the big talking points of an arm wrestle European final, as well as the Copa America that nobody saw. Messi got his first international trophy though, and we discuss why it's ridiculous to compare the GOATs of the game.

We also got into some Australian football chat with discussions around Tomi Juric leaving Adelaide, Macarthur's excessive signing of players, and Leigh Broxham signing on for another year at Melbourne Victory.

If you like what you hear from us tell your friends, and check us out on the old book face.

Get in your rigged or s*** nominations, as well as anything else you see in the world of football that peaks your interest. We'd love to share it and have a chat about it.

The final of the Euros has arrived, and only 1 year late. We preview the final while ranting about flopping in football, and we also selected our team of the tournament.

Who would make your Euro XI?

The King of Adelaide, Craig Goodwin signs on for another year with the Reds and there were plenty of other player movements as well. The Olyroos prepare for a tough Olympics in Tokyo with Argentina, Spain, and Egypt, and the Socceroos have found out who they'll need to squeeze past to qualify for the Qatar World Cup (do we even want to go?). All that plus a little bit of Ange Postecoglu watch as he takes on a mammoth job in hostile territory.

The group of death has died, and just like that the World Champs, and the European Champs are out of the tournament. The football was (mostly) great again, as the race for Euro glory comes down to the final 8.

Euro fever has got us all! When are we meant to sleep?

The groups stages are done and we discuss the ups and downs of the tournament so far, and give our armchair expert analysis of the upcoming round of 16 fixtures.

The Reds do us proud, slipping out of A-League contention with a heart-breaking 2-1 loss away to Sydney. We had a quick chat about the game itself and how we feel about the squad going forward.

IT'S FINALLY STARTED!

The European Championships from last year are underway and we could not be more thrilled! We broke down a bunch of the action from the tournament so far including a big Italian win, a typical England win, and discussed whether Portugal's attack is the best on paper.
