"Earlier this week organizers of the 947 Ride Joburg race released a statement about the disqualification of the cyclist Emma Browne which led to her missing out missing out on the first prize. The organizers have also confirmed that Browne has appealed against this disqualification after a video was circulated of a lead car saw her taking a wrong turn. She revealed last night that she had planned to donate the earnings from this race to a CSI project.”
