Members Reviews:

The Island of Misfit Children's Books (Won't you please love or at least like one of these books?)

It's OK if not every book suits one's taste. Sometimes it's hard to tell what a book is like from the tiny black-and-white images on a kindle (which explains why I download from a color computer nowdays). Currently I am the only reviewer on each of these books after 3 long months and am hoping someone might "adopt" these books by trying a sample first and then electing to bring them into their homes by a purchase and a postive review . While I might not have favored the book by reasons of them being meant more for girls, the very young, or not prefering the looks of the illustrations, I'm hopeful others might really enjoy these works and rescue them from my "Island of Misfit Children's Books". Here they are in no particular order:

1) "Sunshine Turtle Discovers the 4 Seasons" by Leon Jackson, Jr.

2) "What Suzy Clemente Didn't Like" by C R adams

3) "My Highfalutin' Klondike Caper" by Celeste Whitley

4) "Friends in Fairyland" by Mary ann Leveck

5) "Rogi the Giant Dinosaur" by aaron Stevens

6) "Adventures of Nevaeh and the Rougarou" by Ashleigh Blanchard

7) "Once Upon a Tour" by J N Paquet
