A great book to add to my second-grade classroom library
A great book to add to my second-grade classroom library. SugarPaw does not like eating vegetables, but when he lets a friendâs parrot out of its cage he needs to find a way to urge the bird back. It seems as though only âwhistle beansâ will do the trick. While on the adventure to find Cesar, the parrot, SugarPaw learns how different vegetables help keep his body healthy. Following the story are fun facts about the ten vegetables use throughout the book. It would be fun to have students try the different vegetables as part of an interactive read aloud in any elementary classroom.
Another fun Adventure that's kids will love!
It's so nice to see another colorful and fun adventure from author V.S.Grenier and illustrator Kevin Scott Collier for not only children but for the parents who are sharing the experience of reading together. The story will not only entertain kids but educate them about Veggies in a fun interesting way. What a delightful story, can't wait for the next adventure.
Great Info in a Fun Manner
I received a copy to facilitate my review. The opinions expressed here are my own.
This is a book every parent should read to their children. Especially if they are having trouble getting them to eat their vegetables. Through the tale of SugarPaw, who doesnât eat vegetables we learn about the importance of vegetables. Who knows you just might learn to like your vegetables.
Just for Fun!
A children's book that is just for fun with great illustrations and a kooky-type of adventure that works well with kids. How do you whistle? What can help? The kids will be trying right alongside while you read.
Delightful
A delightful book for toddlers with an important message about natural foods. Interesting, educational, endearing.
