Torah Classes

Chp. 31 verses 7 - 12: Moshe gives Yehoshua instructions on how to lead the people. He writes a sefer Torah for them. He tells them about the Mitzvah of Hakel, where the king reads from the book of Devarim on Succoth at the end of the 7th year.

Chp. 31 verses 13 - 19: Continues with Moshe telling the people about the Mitzvah of Hakel, and writing of a Torah Scroll.

Chp. 30 verses 5 - 10: A continuation of last weeks lecture of repentance and restoration.

Chp. 29 verses 11 - 17: A continuation of Moshe's renewal of the Covenant with the nation.

Chp 30 verses 1 - 4: Moshe talks to the people about repentance and restoration.

Chp. 29 verses 9 & 10: An introduction to the portion. Moshe speaks to the whole nation in this portion on the day that he was to die.

Chp. 30 verses 11 - 14: Continuing with Moshe speaking to the people just before his was about to die. Here he discusses the availability of the Torah!

Chp. 30 verses 15 - 20: Moshe continues to speak to the people and he tells them that they have free will, and that they should choose life and good!

368 Chp. 1 verses 2 - 5: On the 1st day of the 40th year in the 11th month Moshe began to expound on the Torah. This was after the defeat of Sichon an Og. He expounded on the Torah in all 70 languages.
