Torches and Pitchforks

With one sentence, the soundtrack to shotgun weddings changed forever.

This is an idea I’ve sat on for a while (three days): Torches and Pitchforks, a podcast about the targets of moral panics, witch hunts, and public shaming.  I’m starting with The Zoë Post, since it marks a recent (and bizarre) turning point. With all the ink spilled about the doxxing of game developer Zoë Quinn, I think the incident has value as a frame for what I’m getting at. I’m also tickled by the idea of being the last sane human to talk about Gamergate at length.

Theme song Chase by notable musician and stand-up human being Mike Hart. More of his work can be found here.
