Roadside parking and why my compass didn't work.

Topics current in February 2020, the passing of time, a partly light hearted, but deep conversation with myself.

In 1978 a lot of people queued for the Last Night of the Proms, a truly British  activity. But now the overnight queuing has been banned and the day queue only lasts for a few hours, not weeks. This is a record of the queue from back then - including an interview with Richard Baker - the BBC news and music man. RIP.

OK, it's also a history of the start of my Prom going life - and my sadness at the effect the process of Brexit has had on me of  'Being British'
