On Saturday September 16th, 2023.  Justine and Stef's teenage dreams came true.  Two bands that we idolized for over 30 years came together and performed on the same stage.  Lead Singer from  the band LiVE, Ed Kowalczyk rocked out some of his greatest hits, along with a few new ones.  Ed proved to us and every one there, that like a fine wine, he is only getting better with age.  Stone Temple Pilots closed down the night and lead singer Jeff Gutt has proved his place in the band and to the fans. He has proven that not only can he please us , but we both think Scott would be proud.  Today we reminisce and compare notes on the night that will live in our minds for a very long time.  We will continue our decade series next week, covering the year 1992!

It was December 6, 1991, in Austin, Texas, when the quiet night was shattered by a horrifying discovery. A fire had engulfed a small, local yogurt shop, leaving behind a gruesome crime scene that would forever change the lives of those involved. Inside the shop, police and firefighters found the lifeless bodies of four teenage girls - Eliza Thomas, Jennifer Harbison, Sarah Harbison, and Amy Ayers. Unfortunately, this case remains unsolved to this day leaving us all still wondering who could have killed these girls and why? On todays episode of Fridays with Nin... we talk, cheating.  Cheating is a subject that many have strong opinions on.  It's a topic that many men and women are all too familiar with, and it's interesting how many different forms of cheating there are.  With the birth of and growth of social media it has allowed cheating to be more common and has created many  sticky and unforgiving situations. This episode may have a part two and if not, most definitely a topic we will be revisiting.  Even though cheating we all know is wrong, it's interesting to hear the point of view from people who  may not feel the same way as the majority of us.
