  • Episode 5 - Snacks
Hello and welcome to the fifth episode of TournaMint Juelp!
Join us this week when we leave the comfort of the kitchen table and venture off and tape outdoors while driving to supply ourselves for Dragon Con. Since we are in the midst of buying for our unhealthiest weekend of the year, we figured it would be the best time to discuss snacks, as we disgustingly eat some in the car!
    Some quick notes:
    - We don't do a tournament in this episode, nor do we drink, so we are completely destroying our premise!
    - We mention Dragon Con, but it is sadly over. If our ramblings over the course of the past few episodes entice you, visit dragoncon.org and join us next year! Well, not us literally, but us in the sense of everyone at the con.
    - Our audio is shittier than usual in this episode. If we are already nails against a chalkboard with our terrible quality, you might want to skip this one. Spoiler alert, we're disgusting individuals.
    - We are finally on iTunes!!!!. If you have come across us from a different platform, please share us with your friends and get them to search us on iTunes. Also, please comment, like or share!
    - Finally, we have a new Twitter page so we can connect with the kids. Follow us @TournaMintJulep

  • Episode 4 - Films Based on Real Events
Hello and welcome to episode four of TournaMint Julep!
In this episode, we are joined by our special guest Brent, and we cover our favorite films based on real events, even though some of those may be somewhat questionable.
I also begin an impassioned plea for our fellow Dragon Con attendees to give us a listen, so I hope some of you all have come over from the various DC communities and joined us. Spread us around to friends, and like and share if you enjoyed our endless ramblings.
If you are reading this, you've had to find us somewhere, but we are available on the Podbean and Pocket Casts apps for Android, and while I mistakenly said we were on iTunes in my intro for episode three, we are actually just waiting for confirmation, so hopefully Apple will approve us soon, and we will have another way of getting our show out there. In addition, you can visit our podbean site at tournamintjulep.podbean.com where you can like and leave endearing comments or spew vitriol at our pathetic efforts at podcasting. Also, you can e-mail us secret love letters and other things that would be inappropriate on a comment section at [email protected].

  • Episode 3 - Fictional Couples
Welcome to our third episode of TournaMint Julep.
This week, we have a very compelling tournament of some of the best fictional couples from literature, television and cinema.
Also, please help spread the word about our podcast. If you like, please like and share us here on Podbean, download us on the Pocket Casts app on Android, as well as iTunes, and e-mail us hate mail at [email protected]!

  • Episode 2 - Non-Scripted Television
We are back, and officially a series of podcasts instead of one terrible recorded idea.
This week it is just the three of us (Jason, Brittany and Chasity), and in honor of the fact that our nation has given voice to a verbose reality television star as a potential leader and lawmaker, we thought we would tackle the topic of our favorite non-scripted television shows.

  • Episode 1 - Old School Nintendo Games
    Welcome to our inaugural episode!
In our first episode (that we can release to the public), we discuss our favorite old school Nintendo games, or games released on the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES or the Nintendo Game Boy.
The basic format of the show is that we will come in with our top five in a given category (old school Nintendo games in this case), argue what that category consists of, and which ones deserve to be in a tournament bracket, and then we create a NCAA-style tournament of sorts, and argue our matches down to a clear winner. All while drinking pretty heartily. So, it's basically one part nerd rage, one part drunken ramblings, and a healthy dash of embarrassing Kentucky accents.
Our panel this time around consists of our three regulars (Jason, Brittany and Chasity), along with our first special guest, our friend Andrew.
