September 04, 2020 Star Warriors - Episode IX - Star Wars Rebels
The Star Warriors are back with another podcast featuring your favorite sci-fi franchise from that galaxy far, far away! In this episode the Warriors talk all about Star Wars: Rebels! If you're a fan of the show you won't want to miss this episode! Star Warriors Podcast Episode IX : Rebels OPENING - From the grassy plains of Lothal to the World Between Worlds, THIS IS the Star Warriors Podcast! Rebels was the successor to The Clone Wars but it was also Disney's first slice of the Star Wars pie. Starting in 2014, it ran for 4 seasons and a total of 75 episodes, ending in 2018. Today we are going to talk all about what Star Wars Rebels means to us and for that, as usual, I have some of my favorite scruffy looking nerf herders on the air! Joining me today are… Ruben, Moses, Casey, Jake & Rocco. What did you like more (or less) about Rebels in comparison to The Clone Wars? Favorite character and why? Thrawn was a big addition from the EU to Disney canon, were you familiar with the character from OG Zahn trilogy and how did you like his transition? If you didn't read EU, you can talk about thoughts on new canon Thrawn. COMMERCIAL Favorite episode(s)/arc and why? The World between Worlds. To abstract for Star Wars? Do you think it will play a role ever again? Where and when do you think we will see our heroes (and villains) again? July 12, 2020 Star Warriors - Episode VIII - 40 Years with The Empire Strikes Back
The Star Warriors got together to talk about the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back. We had a great episode and some great discussions so we hope you enjoy the episode! May the Force be with you! Opening - From the swamps on Dagobah to the ice cream stands of Bespin, THIS IS the Star Warriors Podcast! The Empire Strikes Back is arguably the most popular movie in the Franchise and this year it is celebrating it's 40th anniversary. Today we are going to talk all about what it means to us and for that as usual we have some of our favorite scruffy looking nerf herders on the air! Joining me today are… Who's on the show today? What is your earliest memory of ESB? Favorite character arc? Yoda and the Jedi through diff eyes. I think we all had the privilege of seeing this movie before the prequels existed. How does knowing the previous events change your perspective now? ESB introduced some new scum and villainy to the Universe. Favorite Bounty Hunter from the Executor lineup and why. After all these years growing up with these movies. Now we are adults and understand the gray area of decision making... Do you agree with Lando's choice to betray Han? COMMERICAL Obi Wan: "That boy is our last hope." Yoda: "No. There is another." Leia was who we assumed Yoda was speaking about. Now after all the prequels and sequels, do you think that could be looked at another way? Favorite scene/sequence? Where does ESB rank in your lineup of SW movies? CLOSING

June 28, 2020 Star Warriors Episode VI - The Temple of Shi’ran Dah
150 years after TROS. There hasn’t been rumors of a Sith since Palpatine was finally destroyed. The Skywalker name is synonymous with light-side force users. This is a great time for the people of the galaxy, and an even better time for gangsters, syndicates, and nefarious groups who would prey upon the people without the watchful eye of a ruling power. Your group also takes advantage of these prosperous times. They’ve been working together for some time now and their next adventure takes them to the planet of Kaldeen, where local crime boss and notorious gangster Rodia the Hutt has their next mission. Enter the first episode of the Star Warriors RPG - The Temple of Shi’ran Dah. If you're a fan of Star Wars (you're listening right?) and RPGs, then this is the episode for you as the gang takes a trip to a galaxy far, far away and you experience a FULL roleplaying session.
