How do you handle a shipping mistake? Not like this NECA... LEGO seem to have target Ben ad Scot personally while Super7 launch a new scale for the second time? Then it's time for an unboxing and this one is massive in size. Ben also shows us a custom so good, we thought it was the real deal.

This Week on the Toy Power Podcast; Scot comes up with a new segment - taking inspiration of the Perfect style Team; built up from a bunch of elite characters.  First round in this discussion is all centred round the Vintage Masters Of The Universe - Heroic Warriors!  We take careful steps to narrow down our specialists; and also select an iconic Vehicle too!  Then we have a welcomed gift from Morgan, with a little something for each of us.  Rounding out the ep, is a very causal chat around the Silly Season.  What do we each have planned, and how are we likely to celebrate?!  Another fun episode.  Enjoy.

This week on The Toy Power Podcast, we are feeling the build-up of the festival season; and must record on a School Night!  Trent had far too much homework, so its just a trio recording this round.  We touch-on the latest news topics that are hitting our radar; which include a Tully Take-over from the Ghostbusters team.  Justice League Task Force build their team up, & more unique Star Wars characters that are kind of neat.  Marvel Legends, Toxic Crusaders, Space Godzilla, plus more Ben Cooper inspired kids too!  A run-down from Ben around the niche custom efforts of Fans in the Battle Beasts community; with some announcements from TFCon.  Studio 86'Constructions are deconstructed on the when, what & price tags.  Then we share immense joy towards the Adelaide Christmas Pageant event!!  Rounding out the ep we chat about our Latest Scores.  All this & more!  Enjoy!

This week on The Toy Power Podcast, with Halloween still fresh in our minds, we invite DoesTEN back on the show to give us a great insight on how the American's Celebrate this famous Halloween event.  Including some neat stories from his youth.  Then keeping with that similar scarry topic, we embark on creating a Top 10 list, detailing some of the more questionable Horror Themed Toys that where marketed to Kids (pre 2000).  Some of them derive from Horror Films of the same name, and others are stand-alone properties that have Horror themes.  We absolutely must give Swamp Thing a shout-out too as he has been depicted in some quite mature Comicbook story lines too.  Did we miss anything, please let us know!

New York NEW YORK - it's a wonderful towwwwwwn! As NYCC 2024 comes to close, we begin to open our collective wallets. There's something for everyone from Kryptonians, Latvreian Rulers, Spectral Catchers, Big Rubber Guys, X-Hunters and even more Mutated Adolescents. Too cryptic? It shouldn't be cause if you love this stuff like we do, you already know what I'm talking about! Time to make Fry say the thing!

After a week off, we've got tales from two of our favourite events: Adelaide Toy and Comic Fair and Radical Rewind Presents: Goonies. There's mixed opinions on Goonies but its ok cause we all have alcohol to drink, right? Then it's Talkin' Bout Toy Fair with all interactions, tales, special guests and some very special pick-ups to talk too.

Today on the Toy power Podcast its our Halloween House of Horrors special! And what makes an episode more special than our favourite guest and self-confessed expert at scaring kids, Mr Davey Damaged! We look at the spookiest, creepiest and down0right disturbing toys every produced. From the glory days of the 80s with Warrior Beasts, Skeleton Warrors and Aliens, through to the modern era dominated by the likes of McFarlane and NECA. We then branch out into some of our favourite Halloween episodes from TV-land. Simpsons, Goosebumps, Scooby-Doo and even Supernatural. Working our way out of the spooky-land we answer some fan questions including how would we handle a Monsters in Pocket/Mighty Max reboot line, and a virtual wish-list of what figures we want from our fave modern toylines. Safety warning for this episode: Trent likes to lure girls into bathrooms, Ben likes to scare his future-wife with Gremlins and Davey does a creepy good Trent impression in one of our more memorable outros.

This week on the Toy Power Podcast, we have Special Guest: Craig Goldberg just us!  Well known on the Toy Anxiety Podcast as well as the greater "YHS" Community!  We run Craig through the standard initiation questions, with his answers heading towards his passion towards Sports Stars and defending Movie Sequels...  Then we get into a bit of a round trouble discussion about our own 'State Of The Nation.' Where are we at with our Toy Collecting habits & what might be on the horizon?  Plus some fun reflection stories from the past too; (or two?).  A little bit of Hot Toys banter; with a name drop of a potential on-par competitor company by the name of Jazzinc Dioramas - their Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman is outstanding!  We question- who and what is a Matt Bush?!  Then we get the low down on just how YHS began, but also their impressive involvement in all things Ghostbusters related; - including some involvement with the new films!!  Then we do another round table segment of Latest Scores otherwise known as Pick-ups!

Find more from Craig on: The Toy Anxiety Podcast as well as the YHS (Yes Have Some) Podcast too!
