TQ 049 Reed from California
Reed is an American teacher who has taught in Japan and China and spent a lot of time in India as well. We were partner teachers (that is, we taught the same students) this past year and I really enjoyed working with him. I'll miss him a lot. Our classrooms were across the hall from each other, and we often went into the others' classroom to say hi or to have some fun. Our students liked it. Listen as we talk about tennis and yoga and a lot of other things. We have trouble staying on topic. :-)
Here are some words he uses that you may not know: bulldog, surf, surfboard, buoyant, stretch, courteous, paradise, wonderland, flexibility, prospective, quadruple, and intensive. He also uses two expressions you may not know: 1) "I can kick Rob's butt" means that he can do better than Rob; 2) "That's a different ballgame" means that something's very different from another thing.
