At least 35,000 children are estimated to have been forcibly taken from Ukraine to Russia, where they are indoctrinated, militarily trained or put up for adoption.

That's according to the Humanitarian Research Lab at the Yale School of Public Health -- which has been investigating reports of abductions since 2022.
