Yesterday at Tracks HQ, hearts audibly broke. On the morning of Monday 8th August, one of our all-time favourite bands The Maccabees called it a day and we immediately went into mourning. Rather than mope around the house, however, we decided to pull ourselves together and record a part tribute podcast, part group therapy session. This is the result.

We go through our history with the band, telling stories and sharing memories connected to each of their four incredible albums and playing the songs we love the most. There are requests from other bereaved listeners, and plenty of emotion that anybody who has ever truly loved a band will relate to.

So grab the tissues, put on your best Maccabees t-shirt and join us in saluting one of the most unique and important bands of their generation.

We celebrate reaching our milestone 20th episode by going head-to-head. It's quiz time. It's Tim vs Harry. It's Tracks vs Tracks. It's war!

The format is simple: 10 questions each, all written by the other. Returning guest Ben Brooks of Buddha Blood is the quiz master, and the loser has to do a forfeit of Ben's choice. It's a fun and raucous way to kick off Tracks' 20s.

This week we preview one of our favourite nights of the year - Bolney Fest.

As you may or may not know, Bolney Fest is a huge DIY party held just outside Brighton by the members of Buddha Blood, and it never disappoints. This year's theme is the 90s, and as such we run through tracks from the decade that we'd be gutted not to hear on the night. Weezer, Blur, Suede and Randy Newman all make the cut.
