Breathe. Sigh. You are not alone. 

First of all, we’re all still in a world-wide pandemic. Secondly, most of us are either suffering a loss of some kind, going though some type of transition, or not quite feeling like ourselves. 

After you’ve gotten the appropriate help, be it therapy, counseling, connected with your spiritual source, have had a physical checkup and you still don’t feel settled. You still don’t feel okay?  Sigh. You are not alone. 

Listen. We hear you, we are here you and we feel you because, maybe for different reasons and at various levels of awkwardness, we’re right there with you. 

We are not okay and that’s okay! Breathe. Sigh.

Ever since the colonization the African continent and the enslavement of Black People in the United States, there has been a deliberate and consistent efforts to keep African Women and African American women from connecting. 

Be it the cultural differences or stereotypes seeded by propaganda that distance us, we are so much more alike than we are different. We simply need to have the conversations. Closing the Gap: African & African American Women Pt.1
