Traditional Chinese Medicine

Today we’re talking with Alison Warren, DAOM, MSHS, who teaches students in the health professions – including here at GW – about the practical applications of Integrative Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture.
An adjunct assistant professor in our Integrative Medicine Programs, Dr. Warren received her Clinical Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in Washington state. She earned a Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. During her training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Warren also traveled to China to train at prestigious hospitals in both Shung-Hai and Chung-Du.
Dr. Warren also holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences in Integrative Medicine from the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She recently completed a Neuroscience Certification from the University of Pennsylvania.
