The NFL world was once again touched by gun violence when a gunman killed four people inside the building that houses the league’s headquarters in Manhattan before turning the gun on himself, shooting himself in the chest in hopes that his brain would be studied for the impacts of CTE.

Among those injured in the shooting was NFL employee Craig Clementi, who was on the phone instructing his colleagues how to barricade themselves from the gunman and stay safe amid the shooting.
