Trail Talk: Highpointing Podcast

You may recall in episode 54, Daniel Carmical aka Lone Star Highpointer, spoke about a fellow hiker he met on Mount Marcy who spoke to him and his friend about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and many other adventures throughout the American West and the country she calls home, Switzerland. Regine takes us through her life in the outdoors full of world traveling and adventures that we read about in the books recommended in the shows. Enjoy my conversation with Regine!

I was fortunate this week to have John come back on the show to share his extensive knowledge on National Park and National Monument highpoints. It's a list that I know a lot of listeners and guests are interested in (I am!) and I very much enjoyed this conversation. If you're like me, you'll want to go out and reach an NPS site highpoint after hearing this. Enjoy!

Big City Mountaineers (BCM) is a non profit organization that provides transformative experiences in nature for youth from disinvested communities. With locations throughout the country, BCM gives youth an opportunity to experience the one thing I know has impacted listener's lives greatly-the outdoors.

Executive Director David Taus and Adventure Fundraising Manager Linnea Delucchi were generous enough to give their time to be on the show this week and talk about the BCM mission and how you can help.

Spoiler alert-helping to raise money for BCM can be fun AND meaningful! Enjoy my conversation with David and Linnea!
