Welcome to Trailer Fire — the podcast that proves you don’t need a blueprint to build something that works… at least for a little while.
I’m Travis Stevenson — stand-up comedian, Appalachian escapee, and proud owner of a comedy career held together with duct tape and bad decisions. This show is like the house I grew up in: a bunch of trailers slapped together in the middle of nowhere. Eventually, it didn’t work out — so we burned it down. That’s where Trailer Fire comes from.
Every episode, I sit down with comics, creatives, and people chasing something weird and impossible, talking about the messy moments that make them who they are. Sometimes we’re in a studio. Sometimes we’re live on location in the middle of chaos. Wherever it is, it’s real, it’s raw, and it’s usually funny as hell.
If you’ve ever built something out of nothing — or felt like the only person making it up as you go — you’ll feel right at home here. And if it all falls apart? Well… we’ll just set it on fire and start over.
In this episode we talk about the Alaska B4uDie Comedy Festival, The struggles with getting older, and what happens when you injure your foot in the most bizarre way possible.
